James Ferraro is one-half of noise group the Skaters, though I think this is almost closer to something like Ariel Pink than his usual output... it sounds like a bad, partly-melted and deteriorating VHS tape from the 80s played extremely lo-fi over long-range AM broadcasts. That said, this is surprisingly really catchy and feels almost nostalgic.
